As a destination wedding, couple and family photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing the heartfelt moments of the two souls in love during a stunning sunset on the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal. I love Portugal for its incredible scenery with coastal cliffs, vast beaches, ocean waves. Added by the soft sunset light, this all created the best conditions for our destination couple photo shoot with Johny and Valeria. Valeria brought her longboard with her and we started off with her long boarding through the wind.
The golden hour did its magic to create authentic and captivating images. It was so easy to work with this couple - they felt so free and they were so in love. I was giving them slight directions of where to stand and gave the examples of what to do and they simply started living through this moment. I was holding my breath and capturing everything with my camera while being almost unnoticed by them. The couple's deep connection helped us to create a beautiful series of timeless photographs of their love story.
