COUPLE SHOOT IN THE HEART OF STOCKHOLM: Marina & Anton

Stockholm

VII/24

This couple shoot took place in the heart of Stockholm in the beginning of July. I traveled to Sweden primarily to photograph a wedding and additionally it came up to this couple shoot in the city center afterwards, which makes the heart of a destination wedding photographer extremely happy and fulfilled. Photographing in new destinations is always a challenge and a huge joy every single time, cause it sparkles so much creative energy and curiosity towards new places, textures, moods.

The weather that day was about to turn stormy, but it only added some amazing atmosphere with these dark blue heavy clouds that helped us capture some beautiful moments.

We started off in the streets of Gamla Stan - the central touristic area - but we chose empty areas around us to shoot and it worked out perfectly. As the clouds darkened, we made our way to the Radhuset subway station.

This station - as many others in Stockholm - is known for its unique architecture and design, making it a perfect backdrop for our shoot. Being a huge fan of subway systems, I always try to photograph my couples in a subway station if it suits the idea of the shoot and this time was my first one to do it Stockholm. And it was absolutely stunning!

It's moments like these that remind me why I am a photographer - capturing love in its purest form in some places I've never seen before.
