Stockholm's metro is the greatest thing for me about Stockholm. I would have guessed the underground came from somewhere in outer space - so absolutely unique, so fantastically colored, so breathtakingly amazing. The subway stations are pieces of great artwork, with sculptures, exhibitions, paintings, and even waterfalls - why not actually? It's the best "museum" I've been to and I wish I could live in Stockholm for some time so that I can explore all the stations and shoot them all.
Minimalistic and also vibrant aesthetics of metro stations catch the eye and leave one so deeply impressed. Here I've published some of my favorite shots of Stockholm's metro stations that I got to visit. The beauty of Stockholm's underground isn't easily captured though, since it's so massive and multi-dimensional. But this is perhaps the best part of it: the reality is greater than any photo could ever capture.
